Stephen Myers

Stephen Myers is a respected industry leader and visionary in sustainable homebuilding, serving as Chief Executive Officer of Thrive Home Builders since 2021.  With more than a decade of leadership experience at Thrive, he has helped shape the company’s reputation for award-winning, energy-efficient, and healthy homes.

Stephen joined Thrive in 2014 as Head of Sales and Marketing. Under his leadership, the company achieved an impressive 80% growth in revenue, laying the foundation for its continued success. His flair  for streamlining operations led to his promotion to Vice President of Process Control and Improvement. In this position, he helped roll out changes that supported Thrive’s goals of energy efficiency and healthier homes.

From 2018 to 2021, Stephen served as Chief Operating Officer, guiding Thrive Home Builders to national recognition. In 2019, the company earned the National Housing Quality Bronze Award, followed by the Silver Award in 2020. These achievements reflect his dedication to quality craftsmanship, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

Before joining Thrive, Stephen built a diverse career in mergers and acquisitions at Dish Network and in communications and public affairs with the U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, and the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association. This broad background gives him a unique perspective that bridges business strategy, policy, and sustainability.

Stephen earned his master’s degree in finance from the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business. In 2019, he was named to Professional Builder’s “40 Under 40”, recognizing him as one of the most influential next-generation leaders in homebuilding.

A frequent speaker at industry events and a trusted voice on sustainable design, Stephen continues to champion innovation and high-performance building. His leadership drives Thrive’s mission to create homes that are not only energy-efficient but also healthier and more sustainable for families nationwide.
